| Photographer Pedro Pegenaute was visiting the Yesa reservoir
in Navara, Spain, where he shot this overflow channel,
whose yellow, green and brown streaks trace the tracks
of water flowing down the concrete wall of the dam. The
picture of the dark hole, strikes some as sinister and
fearsome, representing death, but for Pedro, the image
represents relief. Pedro Pegenaute has been specializing
in architectural photography for five years now. He also
contributes to Wallpaper and Italian architecture magazines
Casabella and Arquitectura Viva. When taking shots, Pedro
often doesn’t just photograph the architecture,
but the surrounding landscape as well. |
